My Notes

Just what I wanted to replace my IOS notes! This app is simple to use, without frills! LOVE IT,

Five stars

Why doesnt this have five stars already!?!? This app is soo helpful easy to use and much better the the notes app included with the IPhone

My new favorite list program!

This is a wonderful app!!

Note app

Very good and useful

Excellent.

Huge benefits over old notes.

MyNotes

Its just alright. The UI is perfect, and it would be 5 stars if only it had 3 REALLY important things- syncing, passcode protection, and landscape mode.

Good app

I keep a lot of info on my notes. The app that came with my iPhone kept randomly deleting them!! I lost many important notes. So far no problem w this new app.

Falls short on key features

When creating a note you select its folder/category, but oddly that is a two-step process of tapping an existing folder name, then tapping Done button in upper right. That seems an odd choice for an app trying to be quick and efficient. Ditch the Done button and make it a one-step process. Finally, notes wont show up in the device search results, but notes via the built-in note app from Apple do show up. I know this app has a search feature, but I would rather not launch an app like this (notes) just to search its contents. To be a successful replacement of the built-in notes app, this app will need to add its results to the system search.

Love It!

Love the expanding catagories, ability to reorganize notes, the ease of page flipping between notes..... Its just what I needed.

Has promise

Simple and handy. Easy to use on the go. Easy to retrieve the notes without having to search for them. Could include a little more functionality. Some things Id like to see... -save notes as a PDF file -use bullets or numbers so that one can easily make organized lists -connect to dropbox and box to save notes -add the joy stick mouse cursor like the one wordbox has (I dont know what to call it) -needs an iPad version with the ability to sync notes across devices Also, the icon is a bit extreme compared to many other apps. The icon doesnt fit the ios 7 "look". Sticks out like a sore thumb. Sounds like I might not be happy with the app. But I am. Really like its ease of use and is now my preferred notes app. Just some things to hope for in the future. I look forward to future updates!

Cool app

Great for taking notes

Great App!

I love being able to read PDF files on my iphone & being able to keep all my notes & files in one place.

Does what it needs to without the fluff

This is the app taking note Ive always wanted. No weird notepad background and cheesy hand scribble font(which I turned off instantly on the preinstalled Notes app). It doesnt do a million different things but it does have a good amount of features that they have perfected. Separating lists, changing font sizes and being able to move nearly everything is great. Definitely worth getting.

Simple, easy

Terrific app. Simple and easy to use. I have used it to take notes several times.

Notes are the best

Loving it

Apples best kept secret

I love using Mynotes on both my iPhone and Macbook Pro. It is my single most used application on both platforms, bar none, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. It seamlessly integrates all my to do lists, projects, journaling, client sessions, writing projects, web research, and all other notes. A perfect blend of simplicity, elegance, and functionality make it almost effortless to stay organized. The one major missing piece is the current lack of cloud/sync services, which the developers are working on. Ive tried many other note apps including Evernote, Meernotes, Taskpro, Simplenote, Getodo, Wunderlist, Outliner, Yellingmom, SixThings, Awesome Days and too many others to list, but Mynotes is the only one Ive loved using, and never felt like I was trying to fit myself into the design of the app. In terms of simple, intuitive, self-organizing usability Mynotes is easily my favorite. When I want to write a note I cant be bothered by bells and whistles, extra steps, or any visual noise. I just want immediate, elegant organization and Mynotes delivers beautifully. The search function is excellent so I dont mind having to go into the app to do a search, and Ive found Apples system wide searches to be somewhat unreliable. Ive also found the developers to be very responsive. For example, I emailed them about how to move notes into any order I please and how to back up the data file on the mac version and they got back to me in under 24 hours with a clear, friendly answer. A few of the functions arent immediately obvious but once you learn them, the design makes perfect sense. If youre looking for something youll actually love using to keep your life organized, welcome to one of the mac universes best kept secrets.

I LOVE this app!

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for in a notes app... Its simple and clean and being able to roll up your folder/category is GREAT!

Cant print notes, no backup

There is no way to print the notes, which is a HUGE defect. Also, I dont see any way to do a backup. I like the idea of folders for the notes, but since I cant print or back them up, Im better off sticking with the native Notes app, even though I dont like that app at all. Ive wasted $3.99,

Unnacceptable bug must be fixed

I had used this app for several years w/o problems. However in one of the most recent updates, there is a bug where the note will jump around to random spots and you will lose your place when scrolling. This is extremely frustrating if you have a lengthy note. Please fix

Great app

I love this app. Its simple & is as they describe "a perfect replacement for iOS notes." I hate the way the native notes changed with the iOS9 update, this app is exactly what I was looking for to replace it. I have just 2 criticisms: Id like to be able to make text bold, italic or underlined (or even strikethrough like the UpWord app), and- this matters to me- I dont like the icon of this app. I want it on my home screen but I dont like the red & it doesnt resemble a notepad of any kind. Oh well, small potatoes for a great app.
